After just 19 months my WorkCentre 6515DN quit working.
It shows the error code 116-331 and not a single reset helped.
Customer service wanted to charge €300-€400 for help.
All my other hardware works for years and years and Xerox wants more than the original price for
help after just 19 months?
This fault code can be solved by performing a procedure in DIagnostic Mode named STORAGE DEVICE INITIALIZE MODE just by the service engineers because it involve DIagnostic Password.
Mine just did the same thing. Device Fault 116-331. It's just now 2 years old. Does Xerox put a **bleep** I turn off the printer and turn it back on, a tech will have to come out -- $299 for the first 30 minutes and $69 for each additional 15 minutes (not including parts or taxes). That's ridiculous! And last week I just put a new $89 cartridge into this sinking ship. I. AM. DIGUSTED. No more Xerox for me.
