Error Messages: 802.1x and Remote Services

In the Wireless Network Connection Properties window, click the Authentication tab. On the Authentication tab, click to clear the Enable network access control using IEEE 802.1X box. Click the OK button.

Right-click the appropriate network connection (Ethernet or Local Area Connection) and select Properties. In the Ethernet Properties dialog box select the Authentication tab and check 'Enable IEEE 802.1x authentication'.

Hello to anyone who may be able to help.

I recently installed a B225 at my place of work and whilst I have gotten it function in some ways, and have begun configuring the print server, I am still being confused by the error messages "802.1x network is not properly configured. Contact system administrator." and "Remote Services - Communication Failed". Both of these seem to be preventing my computer from properly connecting to the printer and running basic functions such as print and scan.

I feel as if I ran the install process exactly as would be obvious, but fear I may have overlooked something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
