i bought the part already still have the issue, 

isn't there some cable that is to be changed as well?

a flat cable?

Thanks I have the software ware so we can try that this weekend thanks.

The tech pulled the unit out and use a screw driver to act as if the door was closed and still ad thr grinding sound, then of course system gave an error. So seems its a gear close to the back or something. Was unable to stsrt the machine with the back open so will get another tech in to take a look again. Thanks

For 03-318 error maybe it will be better to have a tech to reinstall the machine software and if this not solve the issue it could be the IIT (scanner) PWB defective.

And for the grinding noise it could be from the 2nd BTR.

Ok we've changed the item but still having the same ewrro

so I'm guessing it's something else

then we had a paper jam and there is a loud griding sound from teh back of the printer after we remove the paper

when you close the front door you hear the loud noise

Hi,

It is located behind the back lower printer cover. It is true that the same power supply it is present into the OHCF and HCS.

It's saying something about a HCS guessing High capacity stacker

we don't have thart we have high capacity feeder tray 5 and 6
