I forgot my password and you're right.. XEROX customer support leaves alot to be desired. I finally got it sorted by resetting the printer and setting up a new password.

Have you tried the serial number of the printer as the password? The password is case sensitive. If that does not work service may be the only choice.

I set up my 6510 over a year ago and I guess I forgot and can't find the password I set for admin in the web admin screen. I searched but can't find directions on how to manually clear it so I can reset it.
Called Xerox help and it wasn't!
