Thank you for using the Support Forum. If turning the machine off, opening the cover, closing the cover and turning the machine on cleared the error then I would continue using the machine.  If the error displays again you would need to have a technician look at the machine.  Please make sure that the machine has proper clearance around it and that none of the openings for venting are obstructed.  If the problem continues please contact your support centre for further assistance.

Fan Motor Error Phaser 6350

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

My Phaser 6360 quit today and when checking the status there was an error stating Fan Motor Error.  I shut the printer off then turned back on after a few seconds and after about one minute the the printer failed again.  I then shut off the printer and opened up the front as if checking for a paper jamb the n turned it back on again and now it is working OK, for now.  Should I be replacing the fan or something?
