I have done that you know.
I've replaced the affected drum. Now both drums do the same thing.
The balc drum is practically new.
I'm ordering two more drums as we like to keep in stock I'll see how it goes.but the tech comes back in to finish working on a jib he started last week. We still were having that error and also had to replace the wate toner levelwr and whole bunch of parts so printer had been down for like two weeks.

Plus what really happened to the magenta drum was that the plastic from the developer unit cover came off. This is the third time it has happened. This one was the worst cause seem like it ran thst way for a whole and basically burned into the drum itself.
So when I changed the drum I got that, locking no initializing sound

Hi there guys well
we had an issue with printer whereby the plastic from the cover of the magenta developer unit cover wrapped around the drum
Now it was printing before we realised what had happen (not perfect)
Was able to switch out the drum
but now I'm just getting the error 045-314
like you send a job to print, the printer initialises but it's like the job is getting ready but nothing
then this happens for about 6-8 mins and the fault comes up
Some assistance please
