Re: Finisher Main Tray is not available - Contact System Administrator

Jump to solution

I can confim that the provlem has been solved.

Turns out that the customer moved the entire machine from one room to another and they moved a screw when they detached the finisher unit. When the proceeded to attah the finisher unit again they put the screw back on the incorrect location.

I have attached a picture for reference. The screw should be placed on the left, the client put it on the right hand side.

Yes, it could be from that switch even if it not have message to close the door. I remember I've had once something like this.

Thank you for your reply.

I've only checked the message history, not the fault history.

I have tried to open the tray and closing it again and when I close it I can hear the printer processing and the message in the display that says "Please close the finisher tray door" goes away.

Are you saying that part 110E97990 could still be faulty?

I'm gonna see if i can get hold of a fault code.

Hi,

It could be the front door interlock switch (part number110E97990). And there must be a fault code present in Fault History.

Finisher Main Tray is not available - Contact System Administrator

Jump to solution
Product Name: WorkCentre 7830/7835/7845/7855
Operating System: Not Applicable

Hello,

I have a printer that gives me the following error message.

"Finisher Main Tray is Not Available - Contact System Administrator". Well I am the administrator but I don't know what to do.

There is no error code attatched to this message.

I've looked around the web and I haven't found anything helpful. Well nothing that solves the problem at least.

I haven't tried replacing the finisher unit yet. I'd like to see if I can get it fixed before I get stuff replaced.

If you have any idea at all, it is grately appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
