Hello JayZee13,
I see no one has responded to this post yet. So, at this point I would recommend contacting your local Xerox Support Department to speak with a Product Specialist for more assistance. Please call 1-800-835-6100.
I recently noticed that I needed to upgarde the firmware on my Phaser 6510DN printer. It has never been upgraded so I attempted to do the "bridge" update first (65.59.11). The only way to do that was with the Firmware Download Manager v5.3.6.19 which I downloaded from the Xerox support site everything acted as described in the instructions. The FDM even reported "Upload completed" and I was able to click the "Finish" button. Then, the printer shut off. This seemed strange to me. It was not in Sleep mode, so I had to unplug it from the outlet and, after waiting about 20 seconds, plugged it back in. The printer display says "Please Wait..." and the blue/pink light is blinking. I figured it would take some time, so I finished my workday and ignored the printer until this morning when I saw that it was still doing the same thing. I cannot communicate with the printer, and nothing works. It just sits there with the same message and the light blinking. Help!!!
