Hi,

The IBT assy can be repaired, but by the tech. There is a innovator kit ( 655N00458 ) that can be fitted inside the IBT, also other tips. But, first visually must be inspected to see what part is broken or deformed. The 1st BTR's are the 4 roll which are the same from rubber/sponge. Verify the movement of the mechanism that moves the 1st BTR's.

HI Gabiene, just wondering will there be a way to save the old IBT assy? How can i identify where is the broken linkage or retract system blocked ? Which is part 1st BTR? Sorry to ask so many question. But i wanted to know more and wondering if the old IBT assy cound be save. Thanks

You're genius !! It's the IBT assy. If the technician is as smart as you, i wouldn't need to spend so much time and cost. I've told the technician about it, but they shut me down claiming they're more expert. Lucky there's people like you around to provide solution.

Noted. Very thankful for your response. I just told the technician with your insight. He is on the way to do 2nd round test with your suggestion. Hope by today will solve the problem. :D

I would try to find an IBT assy just to test instead of boards replacement.

I told my technician about the IBT assy too. But yesterday my technician said he has tried reset NVM and he told me that even he reset the NVM the fault code still showing, with the IBT assy and the Fuser tray not slot in yet. The technician said based on his understanding, the reason he suspect it's the MCU and IOT PWB electronic board is because, after resetting the NVM, the machine will back to default and prompt us that the door is not closed instead of the fault code. May i ask if this is the right way to diagnose the machine? i'm just afraid that he might be confused too. Very thankful for your big help on this matter.

The MCU and IOT PWB are electronic board and you can verify them just if you have another one's for replacement.

But I am sure your issue is from the IBT assy. I had a few with this fault code (with broken linkage or retract system blocked)

My tech told me that it's related to MCU PWB or IOT PWB. Will there be a way to verify if the MCU PWB or IOT PWB having issue?. Sorry that i asked, because i'm confused as well.

Hi,

You will need a tech because there is a mechanical problem inside the IBT assy (1st BTR retract failure).

Error Code: 094-320

Hi, i'm having trouble to fix my machine with the above error code. I've tried:

- Cleaning IBT Belt

- Cleaning First BTR Roller (but i'm not sure if that's the right BTR Roller)

- Cleaning IBT Belt sensor, both front and back sensor

- Turning 2nd BTR gear

- Initialized NVM on various variables (eg: IOT, sys-user and ETC)

However, the error code (094-320) still showing. Can any kind expert please help me with this. Highly appreciate. If you need any photo, please let me know. Thanks so much
