I'll have to get with the user to see if they can get me either a screen shot of the error or an error code. The issue seems to happen when they are printing on regular letter paper. It seems almost like the fuser thinks it's in envolope mode and wants to be switched to letter for the print job.
Hello Workrelated,
If you have a specific error that may help us narrow this down. I did, however, find two articles with the "Fuser Mode" in the title that may help you:
Fault Code 028-912: Fuser Envelope Print Mode
Fault Code 010-914: Fuser Envelope Mode Switch is Incorrectly set for the Media Type
Recently replaced a fuser in a unit and now every so often, like every 10th print, the unit throws an error about selecting a mode for the fuser. If you open the back select the mode, it will work for a bit, then throw the error again. Tried reseating the fuser and it didn't fix the issue. Unit is up to date on it's firmware. The only thing I can think is the new fuser is bad. Anyone else have this issue?
