Thanks again Fabio. I'll give that a try when they release their next update.
dont think there is a firmware avaible yet...
to update a printer thats already on your system , you can use this method... :
download the latest driver avaiable on the xerox site, unzip it
then take the properties of your printer
open advanced tab
click on "new driver"
poit to the location of your unzipped driver you downloaded
done...
Thanks Fabio,
Yes I did try that site. My guess is that the drivers that came with the printer are already up-to-date, but I really can't confirm that. I'll give tech support a call this week to have them walk me through it.
hi,
have you tried the suppot site bvelow? you can find many articles how to install a driver , utilities explained step by step
give it a try :)
Sorry for such a Newbie question, but I'm struggling with how to update my Windows 7 drivers and the firmware on my 6015NI.
I downloaded drivers for the machine, but the install makes me go through adding a printer. If I go to Devices and Printers in Windows 7 I then see what appears to be a new printer added for every driver update.
If I remove my printer first, then install the printer driver followed by the fax driver, when I attempt to print I get the Fax screen come up even though I selected the printer device.
I finally gave up, uninstalled everything and downloaded the complete CD installation package. This doesn't seem to be any more up-to-date than what came with the printer (the settings and test pages don't show any updated driver/firmware numbers) though the driver versions on the download page are several revisions newer.
Can someone please point me in the right direction as to how to update my drivers and firmware?
Thanks!
