The image disk is in the controller box on the bottom rear of the printer where the scan, print and network cables plug in. There are two hdd's. One has the software and the other is the image disk. Check the connector that plugs into it. If its ok then you probably need a new image disk.

Where exactly is the image disk and how can we replace it? Can this be taken care of easily? I have had the machine off and unplugged to reset the machine.
