Sorry the information I provided is for North America serial numbers. I noticed from the sticker that you are located in the Netherlands. I would suggest that you call into the support center for your area they should be able to assist with getting the printer registered or help with the correct format and location of the seria number.
I have run the report and checked the serial number, but unfortunately it still does not match the format you suggest it should be in.
I have attached a photo of the configuration report and a photo of the sticker on the back of the printer.
Can you suggest what the issue is?
ps. the lines on the configuration report are the reason I am trying to resolve this serial number issue so I can use Xerox warranty!
From what I can see in the picture below that is not the correct format for our SN#. Our SN# are 9 digits long and combination of letters and numbers. Your printer SN# should start with either of these combations 4AV, 5AV, ANQ, AMZ then 6 digits after that.
The serial number is located on a sticker on the back of the printer.
On the Configuration Report:
I have a brand new device that I have been unable to register for warranty support.
I have updated to the latest firmware 65.67.91 but still no change.
