we getting an error 077-220

been getting it for months

But I'm not sure if not the actual thing stop working

So what's the next step?

Ok thanks could it be from like toner?

because it was running before so dont' know if after cleaning toner spilled down there

ok still the same

the sound is coming from the top part of the machine more liek the area where the toner is or the drums are

Thanks much I did power down the machine a few times,I'll try your next step by unplugging all the cables and then plug them back in and let you know what happen

Power Off the machine and reseat all the cables including DFE cable

Just the usual 077_220 which shows up but doesn't stop the printer from running.
Right now it's making a noise like you know when paper is touching a fan first was loud but then not that loud so it's like the motors are running but the job not going through then I not able to cancel the jib or delete it unless I open back the door then hit cancel.but once I don't sent through a job whether print or copy its fine the minute I do though the machine starts running but nothing happens

Have you checked in the Fault History for error codes?
