We keep getting these 116-703 warning messages in the Jobs log of our B610DN when automated reports are printing to the device from SAP. I've seen some notes that this error is related to a Post Script (PS) issue so I just updated our driver from PCL to PS to see if that will alleviate the issue.
Is the fact that it's listing the owner of the job as a "Guest User" any sort of problem in relation to this error? We just have the device setup as a shared network printer without any domain user authentication required.
Print Systems Info: Server 2012R2 and Service 2008R2 Enterprise
Driver of Issue: PCL6
--updated devices to use PS today
Client Systems: Windows 7 Pro & Windows 10 Pro
On some other occasion we get a similar message of "Guest User 0 pages Completed" but it doesn't have the "warning 116-703" included.
Any help you can provide is much appreciated.
It's a warning about high memory usage, it's fine unless the jobs actually fail, in which case you can just allocate a little more memory.
EWS > System > Defaults and Policies > Memory settings (Just max it out)
Oops, forgot the Guest User thing
That happens when a job is printed via a RAW port instead of an LPR port.
Just change it in the printer Properties via
Thanks for the assists Joe! I just made the memory settings change and will see how that goes before I change the port settings just yet. I appreciate the help.
I have been getting the same error on our new B605 and B610 and tried the maxing out the memory, but that did not work. Our new C7000 works fine though.
