Tried all the solutions suggested, none worked.
There are no local support agents in my area (web page does not find any), and the cost of obtaining a visit from a non-local agent means the printer is now scrap.
I will now be searching for another printing solution, not one from Xerox as this machine has proven very unreliable with only 335 pages printed in the last two years.

I have an Xerox 8580 colorqube printer. It was working perfectly until two weeks ago when it was powered down for a move. Now when I power it on it completes the POST checks, but then the display freezes with 7% of the warm up complete. The two LEDs under the side panel flash with the sequence 223.
I have found documentation on line that suggest this may be the error code for POST_FP_LINK_INVALID but I can not find out how to solve this failure.
Any information that allows me to repair this device would be most welcome.
