Re: LX Finisher eating paper

Hey JD,

Nice to see Xerox Tech's on the forum :-)

I have seen this issue on WC's as well. Had to replace the LX Finisher each time. The main line Xerox Tech's that I spoke to couldn't pin point the root cause either. Maybe talking to one of the Engineers (if you know one) might have an idea.

Re: LX Finisher eating paper

FW is current. Please remember, I've seen this on 2 Altalinks and have posted same issue last year on a WC5335 (and no-one ever found a cause or solution for that one). Obviously an LX Finisher issue..

Thanks for your interest Gabiene

Oh! Sorry! Maybe a software upgrade with FORCED_UPGRADE may help.

Re: LX Finisher eating paper

The LX finisher have some problems with two cams and one spring in the rear mechanism and now is a innovator kit to prevent some faults or paper jam. Ask your tech.

Re: LX Finisher eating paper

Issue to another issue. Place a call to have the technician come back and fix this issue.

A roller could've been nicked or moved slighting. Or the work that was done, brought this issue to light which might've been lingering.

Re: LX Finisher eating paper

There are no fault codes. The copy simply somehow is routed in the space beneath the finisher top cover. Never presents itself as a jam, just begin making a rubbing noise from the paper scraping against the finisher rollers.

Hi,

Can you provide some fault codes from Fault History?

LX Finisher eating paper

Product Name: Other - specify product in post
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

I have had 2 C8035s at the same location have a single sheet of paper get trapped under the LX Finishers top cover/door. I have had the same thing happen with the WC5335s and even posted on expert tech about that, with no solution. Soooo, I'm just wondering if anyone has come up with a fix by now.

Thanks
