Legal paper stapled on an angle

I'm pretty sure its what you are stuck with unless you can get what you want on Letter size when fed short edge feed. Because the staple head can only do the 45 degree angle toward the back of the printer, meaning the corner with the angled staple has to come out of there last. So the only way to get the opposite corner is to flip the paper, which does as you mention. Letter paper can do it only because it can feed in both orientations, that isn't the case for Legal and Tabloid

You see the problem is that if you have a document printed face down (while staple stays on the right) than the staple would be face down as well. Meaning the sides of the staple would be closed on the first page of the document and it looks... strange to say the least.

Could you not switch between face up and face down printing?

It literally would flip the paper making the staple be on the other side.

I know a Fiery and a Freeflow both have the option to do that.

I'm trying to staple a legal sized document wtih a 45 degree angle staple.

This is what I want:

I know that the press itself can staple Letter-sized documents on 45 degree angle. That works just fine. It can staple legal-sized documents but those are stapled on a staight angle.

Here is what I can get, but I don't want it:

I know that the stapler can do the straight-angle staples, but I don't need it. 

Funny part is that I can do this:

Now, I had observed how does the stapler moves on the rail and figured out that without the re-programming the finisher I would not be able to achieve this result. Ok, understandable. I thought that I might get some other unit or machine that would do that for me, but there are none that I know of. 

Is there any way to handle this situation? I'm ready to get an external collator or maybe some other device that can do this staple, but I need a legal-sized paper to be stapled on the 45-angle degree.
