Lines running through scans & copies...

I have a Phaser 3635 MFP, that has a line run through pages that have gone through the documant feeder. It's very noticable & runs down the left side of the page, about 1.125" from paper edge. It is showing up on anything that I scan or copy, feeding through the document feeder. If I put on glasss, I do not have the problem.

Also, when pages print out, I have faint horizontal lines, about 3" apart on the width of the paper. I'm assuming these are coming from a roller some where?

Printer was bought used (not by me!)

Any advice appreciated!

Thanks

Re: Lines running through scans & copies...

Hi mikey59,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please clean the CVT glass as described in this solution for lines on copies. Also take a look at this solution for lines on prints.  If these solutions do not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,
