I was sent an email telling me that there is no maintenance contract any longer. I do not know if the reseller is out of business but I have no way to get a 4-digit pin. I did call the 800 number but they couldn't work with me without a serial number (couldn't find it so I will have to look for it again) and call back. Thanks for the help.
I'm not aware of the meter ink program being canceled. I found this article for incorrect ink stick message. If you are still having issues after trying these steps, I suggest that you call into our support department for assistance @ 1-800-821-2797
I had a ColorQube 8870 on a maintenance contract that I love but the metered program was cancelled. Now the ink is no longer recognized by the printer. I saw a post (can't find it now) that said a firmware or small program was needed by Xerox tech support to reset the country code in the printer but I do not know how to get a hold of that. I have ink purchased from Xerox that doesn't work and it appears that no ink I purchase will work. I would even buy a new solid ink printer if one existed but... If anyone can direct me, I would appreciate it.
