Hi Thatprinterguy,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. I would suggest that you turn the printer off and make sure the adaptor did not get loose during the move upstairs. Do not remove the adaptor without consulting the instructions in this article Install or Remove the Optional Wireless Network Adapter you could damage the adapter. Once you are sure it is secure. Power the printer back on and follow the installation instructions provided in the online support article How To Configure and Connect the WorkCentre 6515 to a Wireless Network. If it still will not find the wireless network try to use wireless in that area on another wireless device, phone, tablet, laptop or etc to make sure it is not a dead or low reception area in your home.
If the issue continues please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.
i have had the printer for a while now, when i first recieved it i opned it put in the network module and started the first start protocol thing. however i had troubleshooting finding my own network, in the end after a conversations with xerox i just gave up plugged in and ethernet cable and the printer worked. the problem with that was that it was standing in the middle of my living room. one day i decided that i would give the wifi module one last go and after some troubleshooting it actually found my wifi. now today when i decided to move the printer i turned it off took it upstairs plugged it in and the wifi is now dead again well only mine, the printer sees some of my neighbors wifi but not all its really wierd what do i do?
