Need Help with Xerox WorkCentre 3215 Scanning Issue

I've been using a Xerox WorkCentre 3215 for printing and copying,I've encountered a significant issue when attempting to scan, and after spending an hour troubleshooting, I'm reaching out for assistance.
Typically, I manage copying through the Xerox Easy Printer Manager program, but when I attempt to use the scan options within the same software, I receive an error message indicating issues with my PC, citing reasons such as lack of memory (which seems unlikely). Even when I try to initiate scanning from the printer's control panel, I face similar problems. Despite being connected via USB cable, the Xerox doesn't seem to detect the PC. Has anyone faced this issue?
