Need driver for Documate 510 for Windows 8.0 64bit.

Hi Xerox et al,

 

I finally upgraded(?) from Win7 32bit to Win8.0 64bit the long, hard, manual way. Now I find that I can't get my Documate 510 scanner to be recognized properly. Beleive it or not, the "DM510_4.6.10.1101.EN.msi" driver package will actually install to a Finish, but the 510 still shows up in Device Managler with a yellow exclaimation mark and states "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)".

 

As I recall, I paid a pretty penny for this scanner and it works the way I need it to once a month for 15 minutes. Now just what do we need to do t get this functioning again in the Win8 64bit environment?

 

I appreciate your assistance on this one.
