Pages shifting .5 inch at GBC punch - Iridesse

Product Name: Xerox Iridesse Production Press
Operating System: Not Applicable

Seemingly at random, pages will be shifted towards the machine side by .5 inch, or exactly 2 punch holes. The image is not shifted on the page, nothing is skewed. It is completely unpredictable, sometimes 5 times in a 30 page book, others no shifts for 2000 sheets. On site service and analysts have told me that if I didn't have a sample in hand, they'd tell me that's not possible.

Any experiences with this out there? Avenues to chase help?
