Thank you for using the Support Forum. You do not mention which printer you are using. I will suggest that you make sure the paper size, paper type, dedicated tray, and tray priority are set correctly and that the paper guides are right against the paper loaded in tray 1.  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Paper Tray Priority

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

Tray one is loaded with 8.5x11 paper. This is specified in the paper settings panel. When I attempt to print a document (with either automatic source selection or manual:tray one), the printer advises me to load 8.5x11 paper into the bypass tray. I am constantly obliged to use the bypass tray.

Ubuntu 18.04, but also printing from my Android phone.
