Re: Paper jam when printing duplex, noise coming from machine

Ok we went into the maching change the side registraion motor, that was acting up the other day. Was doing so cause te gear on it seemed to have cracked but we change the entire thing.

Then we looked at the other gears, most seemed to be worn and seemed to be the reason why it's making a loud noise especially when duplicating.

Only one gear we don't know the item number for it's located to the back of the duplexing unit. it's two gears that seemed to be the one that's worn the worst.

Thanks for this, we would look into it and let you know

There's not any fault that comes up anymore, only when paper jams

Hi,

What fault code is in the Fault History.

On the duplex belt path there is a tensioneer bracket (item 8 on part list 4.3). Try to apply more tension on it (unscrew and press a little on the tensioneer and tight the screw). And you can lube every bearing on the duplex unit by removing fuser, 2nd BTR and vacuum transport.

Paper jam when printing duplex, noise coming from machine

Product Name: Xerox Color C75 Press
Operating System: Windows 7 x64

Hi all,

I'm getting constant paper jams when printing duplex.

We are running some booklets and at least the 2nd our of 3 sheets would jam in the duplexer. So not even in the finisher.

We did heavy stock and those went through with the same noise (like it's coming from a gear) but there was no jam

Now I did have a problem with the registration moter, wondering if that could be it.
