Re: Phaser 3100MFP error message "close cover printer"

It is quite likely to be a sensor issue, but I can't help with a solution beyond returning the device to Xerox for Warranty if it is still covered.

Phaser 3100MFP error message "close cover printer"

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have opened and closed every possible cover and the error doesn't want to disappear. Could it be a sensor in the "front flap" that might be faulty? The flap closes as normal, nothing seems out of place.
