Unfortunately:

1) There is no [Device Options] tab under linux mint 17.3 Rosa.

2) The printer has this behaviour even when not connected to the computer. It just started doing this after years of normal operation.

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure that the power save / energy saver settings are set to something more than a few minutes.  If the problem continues contact your local support centre.

Phaser 3140 turns itself off.

Hello!

 

I have a Phaser 3140. I turn it on, but within 30 secondes it turns itself off. I've tried to use a different power outlet but this was in vain. Also, I tried removing and reattaching  the power cord. Again, it didn't help.

I'm pretty clueless about what's wrong.
