I'm trying to set up my Phaser 3250 on a network, but I'm having no luck at all. The literature indicates that only the DN model does networking, and I don't see any labels or anything in the documentation or configuration pages indicating that this is a DN model, but the unit does have a network interface card.
I've tried pinging the printer's IP address and I only get "Request Timed Out." I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, running through the network configuration, and so on, but nothing works.
Is my unit capable of networking? If not, why does it have a NIC? If so, any advice would be appreciated.
I'm running on Windows 7, but I need to be able to print from a Mac OSX machine (nearly new laptop, not sure exactly which version) as well.
