hi, one of my Phaser 3300's is showing a "COMM Error" on the display and not able ot send or receive faxes. Does anyone know how to fix this error?
Have you tried turning the printer off, waiting for a minute, and then turning it back on? Also, have you checked the cables and phone lines that plug into the machine to make sure that they are fully plugged in? Sometimes, the little tab on the connector at the end of the cable where it plugs into the machine, can break off so the cable won't stay plugged in. It might look like it's plugged in but it's not far enough to make contact. I checked the Knowledge Base and it recommends that you try to have the fax resent to your machine.
