On the printer control panel, press the Back/Menu button to enter the System Menu. 2. Press the Down Arrow button to go to Print Config Page and then press the OK button. Updating the FW over a USB connection on a PC *NOTE: The FW update utility for the 6121MFP is a Windows based PC application that communicates over a USB connection. The TWAIN scanner drivers must be installed and configured over USB for the FW update utility to communicate with the device correctly. **NOTE: If the device is connected using a Network port, you will need to change the connection to a USB port, and install the drivers for a USB connection. For information on installing the 6121MFP over USB refer to the User Guide section titled “Installing the Drivers for Windows – USB” on Page 40. 1. From the computer, launch the UpdateFW.exe utility. 2. Click on the [Browse] button, then browse to and select “AmberAIO4IN1_XC_V103F00_p1.bin” file. 3. Click on the [Update] button to send the file to the printer.

Thanks a lot for this information.
I tried to contact Xerox here in Italy but they said that they don't know about the existance of this firmware 103. Where did you find informations about it?
thats a bug in your firmware, call xerox and ask for firmware version : V103
in release notes :
Network packet buffer overrun occurs after the printer receives 102 RARP (Reverse ARP) packets, causing the printer to drop off the network or fail to wake up from Energy Saver mode
Good morning.
In our office we have a 6121MFP/N linked to our ethernet LAN.
We have one big problem: sometimes (not predictable) the printer goes offline and we have to reboot it to have it available again.
I tried to search if it's a common issue with this printer model but it seems not. Does anyone have any advice? I don't think that it's still under warranty, even if it's absolutely new (put online the past week, kept unused for about 1 year...).
What should I do? I tried looking at every energy saving option, but it should be ok.
Thanks a lot
Stefano
