We just updated the firmware :

 

Operating System(OS) 8.26

PostScript(PS) 4.12.0

Engine(Eng) 12.11.0

Networking(Net) 37.58.03.03.2008

Adobe PostScript Version 3016.101 (10)

PCL 5c Version 5.0

 

Looks like the PCL version now shows up as well. We'll see how it holds up now.

Phaser 6360 LED starts flashing green rapidly and printer freezes with fault code 228

Hi,

 

We have a phaser 6360 that'll have a fault code 228 and then freeze. The green LED will flash rapidly as well (about 10 times per second) There are no paper jams or any other errors when this happens. The most recent print job sent to the printer will also print after the printer is restarted, so it's not a specific type of job causing this problem. Any ideas as to what the problem might be? Here's more info on the firmware versions on the 6360 :

 

Operating System 7.16

PostScript 3.7.0

Engine 12.11.0

Networking 31.74.12.07.2006

Adobe PostScript Version 3016.101 (10)
