I'm having the same problem with "Sealtape check".   I've checked the unit twice and there is no tape left in the unit.  What now???

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please take a look at the solution for installing the imaging unit.  Make sure you have removed all 8 pieces of tape completely.  If the problem continues please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Phaser 6500 Imaging Unit Issues

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have installed two seperate imaging units in my Phaser 6500 and keep getting an error code of seal tape check. The printer will not work unless I put the old imaging unit back in the printer. All of the seal tape was removed both times and I even checked all of the tape sections. Any ideas on why the code keeps coming up. Printer is not usable with th eold imaging unit installed. Thanks for any suggestions or ideas
