Hi dcoggins,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please make sure you are following all the steps for clearing the jam from Tray 1.  Also make sure you are using paper that is within specifications for your machine.  If the paper is within specs. then check the feed roller and clean it or change it if cleaning it does not help.  If this does not fix the issue please consider contacting your local support centre.

Phaser 6600 Tray 1 will not feed, paper jam error tray 1

Product Name: Other - specify product in post

I have a phaser 6600 that will not feed paper from tray 1.  It will try then stop, diplaying an error for "Paper jam tray 1).  I have checked all the paths in the printer and they are all free and clear.  There was no initial jam, just printing fine then to this.

 

Is it possible one of the paper feed motors could be non functional and give this error?
