The problem is probably a broken exit sensor actuator. It is located on the large door that also holds the 2nd btr.
There is a little tab that sticks out and is depressed as sheets move past it. On our 7760 this would break off and then it would jam at the fuser because it didn't think the sheet was there. The tab is small and black.
I've been having the exact same problem for some time and have checked and tried different papers as well as the settings. I didn't see a response here for this last post, is there any other ideas before I have to incur a repair cost after buying a new fuser as well??
Thx,
Val
Still having these issues....the fuser is new and paper is still jamming in the fuser on every print. Is there a fix for this before buying another printer?
Thanks

Hi all, I'm having an issue where my Phaser 7700 is jamming at the fuser every time and crumbling the paper accordion style. Could someone point me in the right direction for a fix to keep me from calling a tech out? Thanks so much!
