are you running the latest firmware?
what you can try is set the port in your switch or xerox machine to static 10/100 instead of autosense, maybe that can help ?
Model 7760GX configured with fixed IP address becomes unavailable to network. Lan cables and switch ports check OK. IP will not ping. Printer cannot be addressed. Restart of printer restores to service with no changes. No sleep settings enabled. No power interruptions to UPS involved. Xerox tech has checked NIC and main printer board, both OK. This problem is intermittent.
