Did you get a solution for this ?  We have the same issue happening with a Xerox 7800.  The print job prints but the error comes up and then the job prints.

Hi tkoss,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. please take a look at the solutions for not printing.  I know you stated that the machine prints but these are some things to check for this intermittent error you are seeing.  Pay particular attentions to solutions 4 and 7.  If this does not help please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Phaser 7800 Phantom error

We have a new(ish) Phaser 7800 that we've had the techs out to look at a couple of times. The printer is working but the indicator light on the front panel is red and we're getting an error message pop-up.

 

"System error.
System error. User intervention is required to Power Off/On the machine; service is required if the problem persists. Print service is not available."
 
Again, the printer is working normally but the error message comes up intermittently (but regularly). The printer shows no active faults when navigating through the panel's menu. .
 
It's aggravating to see that red light taunting me. If I were not quite so OCD I could go about my business but, even thought the printer is working, seeing the error message pop-up and seeing the light is frustrating.
 
Has anyone else had this issue or is there a fix?
