Phaser 8200 front door (blue) latch

Unfortunately the part in question is only available as part of the front door assembly.

I have a Phaser 8200 which has a broken (blue) latch button on the front door.  One of the small pivot 'pins' of the plastic button / latch part has broken off.  I have looked through the parts diagrams and I can only find the whole door assy (identified as # 2 on the parts diagram page).  Do I actually need to order the whole door assy?  ..or can I just order and replace the small latch / button?  I can only imagine the cost of the button being just a small fraction of the whole door.....
