Sorry for the delay -- I also had to replace the Drum Heater lamps, and the spring arms needed fixing due to spark erosion.

I have seen this in the older Solid ink printers a lot.  The Transfix roller (black roller that puts pressure on the drum) is delaminating from the outside edge and gradually peeling off, causing a loss of pressure on the edge.

Replacing the Transfix roller will fix the problem, but that repair takes a lot of time, so it will not be worth repairing.

Title says most if it. The rest of the page output is perfect, but nothing of any kind appears on the left hand 1.75 inches of the page.

Perhaps the print-out is segmented. Clogged segment of print head? Bad connection from imaging board?  ...

What kind of problem have I encountered? :smileysad:
