Finally was able to get back on this problem and did find a very badly jammed "Cleaning Sheet" stuffed so far down in the printer that you couldn't see it unless looking from the BACK of the printer! I had to partially disassemble the top-front of the printer in order to get enough access to finally get it out.
Printer is now back in operation and the fix didn't cost me any money! :smileyhappy:
Now if I could just figure out why the printer asks for "custom paper" of length 11.53" when it is in the start-up sequence.

Bill, have you gotten a solution to your problem?
It's rare, but it's possible that something (maybe paper) is between the printhead and the drum and therefore, blocking the ink from getting on the paper.
HTH
Ran a job the other day and when I tried to print a short time later all I got was blank paper!
Tried to get some output using the control panel and the canned pages from there: nothing.
The PhaserSmart Diagnostic tool thinks I have a paper jam. There is none.
Tried powering off and on: nothing. The unit warms up and then belches out blank pages instead of the normal information and colored checkerboard sheets.
Bought a maintenance kit and installed: nothing.
Did all of the cleaning and checking that various Xerox documents suggest: nothing.
Help!
Thanks,
Bill Lee
