Heya!
You do have a corrupt job in queue somewhere. Either on one of the clients(PC's) or on the printer server.
Removing this job will probably solve the problem.
Thanks!
I have a Phaser 8560DN printer that has developed a problem in the past week. It now enters into a continuous startup->warmup->reboot cycle. Through testing, I discovered that the printer will stay up and can be used to print over USB if the network cable is not plugged in. If I plug the network in after the printer is up, it reboots in ~10 seconds. As far as I know there have been no changes to the network that coincide with the printer problems seen.
So far, to remedy the problem I have tried the following:
- Unplugging the machine and plugging it back in
- Updating the firmware
- Clearing the NVRAM, etc.
- Resetting the NVRAM to factory defaults
None of these has fixed the problem. I also ran all the diagnostics and no errors were reported.
Does anyone have any ideas as to the cause of the problem and possible solutions? Should I replace the electronics module?
Thanks!
