My manger decided to replace the printer due to the age and page count of the printer. He wasn't interested in spending any more time or money on it.

Thanks for your suggesting though.

Hi, TechMike!

The error code means that the process drive stalled while tilting the Printhead.

You can try as following:

* Check that the Process Drive gear train is properly homed.
* Check for obstructions or ink spills around the Printhead.
* Verify the Printhead travels smoothly from left to right.
* Check the Printhead Restraint Arms.

If you cannot see any issues, I suggest getting an engineer to look at it.

Best Regards

Kimzi

Hello,

Phaser 8560 with error code 07.;007.40.  found that it was a print head alignment issue and the solution was to power off for 30 seconds and then power back on.  This hasn't worked to correct the problem.  Are there any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Thanks in adavance.
