Phaser 8560 fault code 37,011.47

Can someone please explain this fault code to me? I think it has something to do with the ink loaders, but I just can't clear it.

The support website just says turn the printer off and on - not very helpful!

I inspected the ink loaders and found some broken ink chips, yellow and I think Cyan - a couple of reasonable large bits. I cleared these out by removing the ink loader completely and shaking them out. I then reloaded the ink, cleared the ISC faults through the diagnostics and rebooted, but the fault is still there.

The machine had been switched off for over a week while I was away and the fault came up when I first switched it back on. By the way I am an Electronics engineer, so no issues with doing simple tasks on the printer, but realise some issues need a service engineer :)

Heya!

This fault code has to do with the power supply probably, it indicates that the Inkmelt 2 aint getting enough power, I would suggest you check the outlet, and if you use an adapter/split, remove that and just plug it into the wall directly.

Hope this helps

Thanks!

Thanks Kimzi for the prompt response. A little confused though. If it was the main outlet wouldn't that effect the whole printer? I checked the line voltage through the diagnostics and it is fine at 240V (UK Mains, not USA).

I also checked the ink melt heaters and they seem to be working. seems to be cracked ink sticks on the heater plates. Cleared it off and its all working again.
