Phaser 8560MFP Ram Error

How can I clear from SYSTEM menu when the window is frozen with the words RAM ERROR. I can not access the SYSTEM menu.

With my RAM Error I replaced the RAM but no good so I had to replace the power supply - got  one off eBay.

It seems this is a common problem and it amazes me how many people say 'reset' - HOW? when the machine is frozen with a RAM error?

In most cases, all you would need is to replace the RAM, not the entire electronics module.

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Please consider reseting the machine to try to clear the Ram Error.  As for the part you are looking for I do not have a part number for you, I would suggest contacting a technician to get that information.

Hi

I need to know if there is a secret to clearing the error or finding out the exact cause.

There is no paper jam that I can see. The maintenance kit is brand new and it has ink.

Also if the electronic module needs replaced which one do I need. My unit has a scanner on it and the electronic modules I have seen for sale do not have a plug for the scanner...I need a model number. The regular number is 137E24444 (Without Scanner plug)

And where is a good reliable place to obtain one.
