I thought the Firmware update is the Altboot. Because the Altboot won't work because my device won't start as i wrote. So i don't know if you understood what i meant, if not, i can clarify more or show a video how my printer reacts.

Hi There,

Not sure what went wrong, but when you receive a black/blue/green screen, that typically indicates an ALT boot needs to be performed on the device. This can only be performed by a service technician. Contact your local Xerox support department and speak with a product specialist for more assitance: 1-800-821-2797 or 1-800-835-6100.

Power Cycle Problem after Firmware update

Product Name: WorkCentre 7220/7225
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

Hi there,

So, i have a Xerox Workcentre 7225 for quite a while and it got to a point where the internet cable caused a start up loop, aswell as the usb cable. So i removed those and the printer worked fine, the only thing is i could only copy and not scan nor print. So i saw here on the forum that someone fixed that issue by installing a new firmware on it and how to do it. All said and done, everything went fine up until the installation was done. Right after the installation of the firmware was done, it no longer wants to start. The screen is black, upper right power button is green for a few seconds once you start it, and then it stops and restarts it again with the green button on and black screen and the proces repeats indefinitely. There was absolutely no issue with power or whatsoever. It's directly connected to a socket. What went wrong and what can i do to fix this issue?
