Update the firmware and see if it stops. if not, call Xerox and Spar it

Firmware bug WC6515:
The empty toner warning prevents the printer to go in sleep mode.

While ordering the supplies the printer stays on ventilating and consuming electricity.
As only one color cardridge is finished, it can still print in gray scale.

It only allows to be turned off manually, making it not waking up when needed.
This is very energy consuming and anoying in the office.

The printer is updated with the latest firmware:
