05,004.44 is related to a drum motor, cause is unknown but a service tech is needed.

As for not finding the code online, it is posted in lots of places, but you need to undertsand not to put the last part in your searches, because your code is 05,004.44:167440. But the fault doesn't contain 167440That number is the amount of pages/impressions made by the printer before or up to the point of failure. So unless someone else got the same fault on the same page printed, it won't appear.

So 05,004.44 is what you need to search

The printer fails at the begining of the warmup phase with error code 05,004.44:167440.

The web interface is still available and functions.

Have removed, reseated & changed the 256MB RAM module as it did display a RAM ERROR messge 6 months ago (but has worked fine since).

I have downloaded the firmware file available from the support site in the hope that it might clear any NVRAM issues but no change.

Does anyone know what the error code is? Google doesn't seem to get any hits for it.
