What I have done to fix the issue's that I have seen, I have to manually remove the Drivers from Print Management and re-install to make sure there are no conflicts with reference to Windows / Xerox Drivers.
2 ways to get this screen;
1. Control panel -> Administrative Tools
2. Run -> printmanagement.msc
Re-installing the printer;
Add printer from Devices and printers
-> Select "The printer that I want isn't listed"
-> "Add a Printer using TCP/IP.."
-> Enter IP address of Hostname, in the same screen remove the Check for "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use"
-> Select "Xerox" in the Manufacturer and select the driver in printers list. I use the latest Xerox GDP PCL6
-> Name the printer
-> I don't share the printer
-> I don't set as default, try a test page
-> Finish.
This is what I had to do to resolve my issue's. The most common issue, is when the check mark to automatically select drivers is checked. Try making sure that isn't checked.
I've tried the Windows 10 standard drivers as well as the latest PCL and XPS drivers from the website.
What version of the driver are you using ?
I run into this issue now and then on different Win OS's. And it always comes down to the Driver Config.
Hello.
I have extreme problems with the integration of Workcentre 7845 under Windows 10. Every time I integrate it, printing is no longer possible, even a selection of different drivers does not solve the problem.
Error message on the printout XPS is not activated.
The second question, is it possible to use this printer in a WLAN network and seperately in a LAN?
