Hi vbbackdoc,
Thank you for using the Support Forum. The admin user name and password are security features of the machine and can only be reset by a technician. Please consider contacting your support centre to have a technician reset the machine.
I bought a used Phaser 3635MFP on EBay. The original owner didn't provide the Admin password, and he changed the passwords mentioned in the Xerox documentation. I have 2 problems: 1. I can't turn on DHCP so it can get a locally recognized TCP/IP address. It is currently set at: 192.168.0.125. and 2) I need to set up the phone number and company name in the Fax part of the machine so I'm transmitting MY phone number on my faxes... and not the prior owner's.
Is there any way to RESET one of these printers to its original default passwords, when all admin passwords have been changed and are unavailable?
