Re: Remove static electricity on polyester sheets

Hi Moreno,

Thank you for using the Support Forum. Static electricity will be a concern with polyester paper.  Make sure the humidity in the room where the printer is located is within specification for the paper and the printer.  You may need to add a humidifier to the room. Make sure the paper is stored at the the correct humidity.  Fan the labels before loading to the paper tray.  As for the fusing make sure you have set the paper specs, make the desired selections for Paper Type/Paper Weight, Paper Size, and Paper Color when you load the paper.  The paper type and weight will adjust the fusing. Please consider contacting your support centre for further assistance.

Thanks,

Remove static electricity on polyester sheets

Product Name: Xerox Versant 180 Press
Operating System: Windows 10 x64

We print labels on polyester sheets, after being printed the sheets are charged with electrostaticity and we are unable to jog them.

We have same problem on Colour 560 and Versant 180.

Are there any tricks to discharge the sheets from the electrostatic charge or to use less charge for the transfer?
